marriage prep!

I enrolled in the "Preparation for Marriage" (marriage prep)course here at school on Tuesday, fabulous class and required.... Yeah, I know, funny! Any prospects? Nope, not at the moment, but I do look forward to marriage. Many reasons for taking this course, biggest reason at the moment was to get out of HORRIBLE, TORTUROUS pattern sewing class. I promise I will gain great seamstress skills, but not now and not with that instructor....
These two books are the reading material we have for marriage prep, pretty interesting and extremely good, I highly recommend.

Blogging isn't any fun these days......

snow makes me slip....

But on the bright side!

Tuna with all sorts of weird stuff makes me happy...

-Rexburg is slowly killing me....
not really but it makes me oh so sad. I do love waking up early, by choice, and walk to the gym and be amazed by winter wonderland. I enjoy walks downtown taking photos but not when i must step in puddles and my socks get socked... Or I walk far distances and my camera freezes or fogs :(. Rexburg is not for photographers, and its definitely not for me. I would just like to experience this weather for 2 weeks, nothing more. I miss the heat, the huge colorful sunglasses, short, shorts, long wild hair and sandals....

Theres still snow all around but not that bad....

I wore heels to church today,red ones, and I walk to church, its like 5 mins away.

So I hear January and Febuary are the usually the coldest, and it hasn'tbeen toooo bad...

and i hope it doesn't get worse, I need a miracle!!

Snow hasn't hurt me much but I did fall (ice!! grrr) my first week, on my knees and tore a fav pair of skinny jeans.. I was so incredibly sad..
But I got a new phone!! YAY!! I love it...

I had to trade Natalie cause Tmobile sucks here...so I got a new numba too!! whoot whoot!!

My little one...
Addison Jenna is my mini me.. We look nothing a like but she has so much of me in her. Yet I want to be so much like her... So clean, pure, happy and FULL of LOVE.
I can't help but love her so much. She is so incredibly, ADORABLE!!
It breaks my heart that she cries for me but makes me feel so loved....
She's a munchkin, shes my baby.

Great Expectations....

Change is constant.

It happens every minute, every hour, day, it happens every year. The best thing one can do is embrace it, to 'roll with it'. I have experienced so much change in so little time and I must say it only has made me stronger, and that is all it should do for us. President Monson just finished speaking on Great Expectations. Great expectations is who you are, who you will become.... "You Are Great Expectations!" I am so, SO grateful for having this wonderful guidance from the Lord's servant. It is amazing that we are able to hear the things we need most without even asking. This week has been short but seemed like a month to me... Its been a tough week, adjusting to change. The weather has been a bust, classes overwhelming. Today was the greatest. Church, the hospital for the weak and weary, the place for the sick made everything feel so much better. And then the CES Fireside made everything make so much sense. The gospel is lovely.... I'd be so lost without it, I'd be crying so much more than I already do.

A couple of days before I came back to school I got to visit some family in Acuna, Mexico. My cousin Iris, from Monclova was there and she has a preggo belly, so April and I took the opportunity to take a shoot! It was fun but tough so we had to be creative with the space we had.
And remember we aren't pros yet!








I can't wait till I have this beautiful belly of my own!! Its gonna be FUN!!

making friends, losing touch with old ones..

But with the craziness I gained so much knowledge.
I know I became a stronger person and I definitely gained a greater appreciation and understanding of the gospel. I'd be completely lost without it. Every craziness on my list helped me learn so much more! Girls camp helped me open up and strengthen my testimony... I learned organization and preparation( thanks to Leslie!!) which I yet have to master, but I saw it in the YW directors life and realized I need that. My mothers marriage was sudden and hard to accept but sometimes we need to "roll with the changes", as a friend of mine told me. Mama Grande's death was sudden as well but we all knew it had to happen. Finishing school was tough and I wanted to quit sometimes but I knew it would be worth it and knew I would look back and say it wasn't so bad. And I do :) Attending BYUI has been great. I LOVE IT!! I love the gospel, I love my scriptures!!

ANOTHER YEAR!!!
Im so excited!! New experiences, highs and lows!!
My shoes are buckled, Im ready to rumble!!! Bring it ON!!!

Ending the year, April and I did one of our crazy photo shoots...
I usually put up a fight before we begin.. She always gets the awesome outfits.. But it was fun and I actually like my face in a few of the images. I must admit photo shoots are always fun.
