Elk Meat

Elk meat fajitas!
Tanner's boss gave us lots of elk meat, ground beef & steaks(dunno if it called steaks...??Tanner's not around so I can't ask him) So I have to be pretty creative when using it, cause we got LOTS. So far I've made tacos of ground beef with some lime sprinkled(cilantro & tomato), meatballs, shepards pie, fajitas, potato and ground beef tacos...
my secret to taking away the "game" overpowering taste is to pour ketchup and worchestershire sauce on it for a while and brown it. And for the fajitas, I soaked it in lemon juice!
Elk meat is actually pretty YUM!

Eat Pray LOVE

I FINALLY finished this read! My sister sent this to me like early September and I have been reading it since but it just wasn't something that grabbed my entire attention but I made myself finish it. Did I like it? Yes and No. It was an interesting book but the character honestly ANNOYED me with her self pity. But I know I could related to her at times. Any-who, here are some of my favorite quotes from this book!

"You must keep your feet grounded so firmly on the earth that its like you have four legs, instead of two. That way, you can stay in the world. But you must stop looking at the world through your head. You must look through your heart instead. That way, you will know God." -medicine man

"Even in the worst tragedies and crisis there's no reason to add to everyones misery by looking miserable yourself"- Brazilian Armenia
