My girls came down this week from San Antonio and Austin to spend time with me before I take off. I had a great time! We tryed watching the meteor shower on monday, tuesday went to the lake and had a little cookout and had 2 photo shoots, swings and chocolate frostys, wed. chilled, another cookout, WII playin, movies, and shot eachother with paintball guns...very painful...haha

Its amazing how long I've been friends with them. Mayra and I have been friends since kinder, Sydni since 1st grade and Kylie since 7th. No matter how far (kylie lived in Japan and Wichita Falls for like 3-4 yrs, girls took off for college) or long we go without seeing eachother we always are so close. When we get together its as if we were never apart. We just catch up on the drastic changes, heartaches, exciting and happy times. I love them! We are all so different yet we get along wonderfully!! We go wayy back! And I know we will always be close. We have helped eachother grow up in many ways and I am very grateful for that. We went from playing "the lion king" to being the spice girls and then forming our own little crew. Now we have our own tv show! :) (they picked a celebrities for each of us)

It's important who your friends are, it has been said that you can determine who you are or will become from the people you surround yourself with. I have a crazy set of friends, who mostly have the same standards as I do, not all, but I believe I am stronger and wiser because I was cautious with choosing my friends.
