such a sweet man who writes me beautiful letters and emails... and texts! I hope this never ends.
It is getting closer and CLOSER! 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7! days til i get to see the man of my dreams and smell, taste, kiss, hug, and hold hands with him. He surely is a hunk of love. All this time waiting and now it's right around the corner! Oh the pure excitement! So a week in Hawaii, the island of love, where i fooled him into loving me, and then off to Alaska. Then back home after those adventures :( but not looking forward to it, so I'll just pretend it isn't happening for now.

Do I really look like I'm 16 yrs old? For over a month I have been substituting at all the campuses here in Del Rio. When I first substituted for the middle school, they told me I looked like I was 14! A bit of an exaggeration if you ask me! Many times I have heard I look young now that I'm older but when I was 14-16, people actually thought I was 17 or 18. Last week, while subbing at the freshman campus, 2 boys asked me, "Miss, you're like 17 right?" And I turned and looked at them, with annoyance, "I wouldn't be here if I was 17!" Students automatically ask me as they walk into class how old I am. As if it matters. A coworker yesterday( at Chilis, my other job), about 23 yrs of age, asked me if I go to school. I explained the whole dippity -do, (taking a semester off, senior in college, blah, BLAH) btw is SO ANNOYING! And he starts laughing. "OH Brooke, I thought you were 16 and still in high school." So everybody, though I apparently act like I am 16 yrs old, and look like it, I am NOT. I am 21.5 yrs old :)
