While staying in Viareggio we made a quick trip to Pisa. It was only a 30 min train ride. And extremely cheap. We paid about 3.60 euros each way. It rained off and on the few hours we were there, surprise, surprise!! Hope you can see all the lovely detail, so incredibly beautiful.
For breakfast we stopped at a local bakery and bought several pans(breads) and ate it with cheese. YUM!! I picked the pans and tanner choose the cheese.
I really enjoyed seeing the Madonna and Child all over Pisa.
