live in the present

A couple of days ago i came across this. this is such a sad photo. it's from january, when i was leaving hawaii for texas. this has yet to leave me, the feeling of regret, of leaving a place that i was happy at. but in the end i got tanner, and that is really what matters.

I really need to apply this to my life! I have always had the tendancy to dwell on the past, and also try living my life through the future but never really focusing on the present. Life is honestly good! And I have an amazing husband who likes to surprise me with chocolate and treats lol. So as sad as this photo is, it makes me happy. It allows me to feel sooooo much love! Love from me to Tanner, from Tanner to me!! Hawaii will always be cherished and a great blessing of learning and growing! And finding my eternal partner!! :)

dish(FOOD) water

sometimes i think of me working in the cafeteria dish room(fall '09)
and i DON'T miss it at all.
i often forget i was a slave to that room and always got dish(chunky food) water splashed in my face, hair, and all over my cute keds.
don't miss it at all. but i do miss the cool jams we would listen to.






anytime i hear some hip hoppish muzic, like this, i remember i use to wash dishes for a living.

even though i only lived with you for 4 months..

the way you made me wake up everyday at 6:30 am and not feel tired.

ppl from around the world that were in my classes.

walking everywhere
waking with sand in my hair and all over my bed.
SUNDAYS.

banana pancakes
Working in the bakery and learning to bake.
brother n sister away from home time
Picnics.
Poke(raw fish w seaweed and sesame oil)
white rice with every meal
my polynesian coworkers and fellow students.
I miss and love you for bringing magic to my life, for helping me learn and experience new things.
I will always have a place in my heart for you.
