Jury Duty, Photography Thursday and Ceramics.....

this is the val verde county courthouse
So I had jury duty once again. It amazes me how people dread jury duty. I think its so exciting! I feel very grown up :D And I really like the idea of not having to work. I hate work..haha. And you get paid! hah. The first time I went they paid 6 bucks and any other days after they pay 40 buckaroos! You have the option of donating your money. The first time (6 bucks) I donated them to the childrens welfare board, or something like that. But Im not going to lie.. I did accept the forty dollars. It was nice to put gas in my car and it not come out of my paycheck. But yeah, the judge had to cancel the trial today due to people being so complicated! I was so frustrated and I could tell the judge was too. But anyway, Im blabbing on way too much about this

So my friend Ting and I decided that every Thursday we would try to post our top 3 photos for the week. So today when I got out of jury duty, I walked around downtown for a while and in a hurry because I hadn't taken any photos earlier this week. So excuse my pathetic photos for the week! I hope they will eventually get better! I just thought doing this would motivate me and help me out a bit. And yes I know I went overboard...SOOO many photos! I love words and writing but photos show and tell things that sometimes we can't even begin to describe. I love pictures...

The photos below are at the blue casa de cultura annex... I honestly do not know the name of the building. Its blue on the outside... But here is where I took ceramics in the spring and summer. I will tell you now that the pottery you see in the photos are all mine. KIDDING! I wish... I made a bunch of crap... A couple of cool and cute things, nothing to brag or show off. I came to pick up my pitcher and bowl I made over a month ago and they were nowhere to be found. Quite disappointing... But all is well... :(

I love taking pics of my feet and shoes! :D

(yes these are Apro's shoes, I borrowed them, haha!)
Below are pictures of wonderful, fun and delightful work! KIDDING! No fun whatsoever! But "if work was fun it wouldn't be called work, it would be called fun" hah. I got that from a book I read a couple of weeks ago. And I agree. Yes, yes, being a lifeguard is 88% of the time easy but its SO BORING!!! And we get paid well but I hate it. The good thing is I get a lot of time to think and write things in my little carry along notebooks. And of course Im grateful I just got nuts with my coworkers and I get very sleep which is very, very bad. And we get in trouble A LOT... People complain that we do a bunch of nothing but sit around. Hello!?! We are lifeguards!! Oh well... :D
