Natalie is so silly... She is hilarious it drives me crazy.
I remember we all use to be annoyed because she acted like every single one of us. Copying what we did, trying to be uber funky but you know what? Natalie is now her own type of FUNKY. She is super funky and I wouldn't change her at all. She has a little bit of Ash, a tad of April, sprinkles of me here and there, and some of Jeff. Of course she has cups of mommy. After all, she was born 2 months premature on Sept 22, sharing the same day as mother and her name too, Luz, meaning light. I know thats a significant name, she is a light unto the world.
I swear, ahaha, some stake speaker said "i swear" when giving a talk so i can too :P, Natalie is CRAZY but that just comes from the combo of the Mejias and Powell, there is nothing we can do due to our insanity, its inevitable.... I had a major scare yday, I mean I actually overreacted but I cant help it, I love my Nannies...(nat) She was sick and my mom told me she was taking her to the emergency room in Uvalde. Turned out not to be a big deal but she's my little sister and ever since she was a baby my mom always warned us about complications in Nats life. I just thought her feeling sick was related to her shunt, but she is fine. I just love Natalie so much. I mean her sense of style is whack, but sometimes I actually really like it. I love that she is who she is, and I encourage her to keep on keeping on. I want her to be happy, very spiritual and always remember she is a daughter of our Heavenly Father and He loves her. I don't want the world to tear up her dreams... She is absolutely wonderful.. She is my baby sister. And I love her texts and her silliness! I wish I could carry her in my pocket.

Natalie has picked up painting and I completely encourage her to continue. We are all artist and should just do what we can. You will always draw like a 5 yr old if you stopped drawing when you were five!!!
