"Everyone tries to define this thing called Character. It's not hard. Character is doing what's right when nobody's looking." - J .C. Watts
"Character is like a tree and reputation like it's
shadow. The shadow is what we think of it; the tree is the
real thing." -Abraham Lincoln
"The measure of a man's real character is what he would do if he knew he would never be found out." -Thomas B. Macaulay
At Natalie's (baby sister) graduation her principal was talking about "true character". He mentioned people's true character coming out when they are put in a tough situation, how they react to that situation. Whether it be good or bad. Something along those lines... It was inspiring. It made me stop and think about myself, how have I reacted when going through tough times? It also made me think of people who were so close to me at one point, who I love so much and realize they no longer are who I knew, who I thought they were.
Anyway, Addy is holding up the post-it. I gave the kids post-its to draw on to keep them distracted for the four hour graduation. Anderson wanted to be photographed with his little piece of art :)
