Roma

Roma was the CRAZIEST city we spent time in. It was pretty amazing. Stuffing into buses/subway to the point that the doors wouldn't close.... Wondering if we would live after every bus ride... And a little paranoid about pick pockets. Our trip to Rome was pretty successful. We didn't run into trouble at all! We spent 4 days in Rome and stayed in a cute, little, remodeled flat! The only horrible experience was FREEZING showers, haha. Tanner only showered once while there. What I would do is turn up the heater in the apt and let the water run and wash my body by quickly splashing water on different areas and scrubbing fast!! We also didn't have internet in our place. That was a bit inconvenient. We would go to a Bangladesh internet cafe and pay .75 euros for every 10 mins. We only used the internet to communicate with our mothers, to let them know everyday that we were still alive, and our hosts. Our first day of actually going out and about, it rained off and on wildly, and our feetsies were soaked and wrinkly. I will admit I took the worse walking shoes with me. I only took two pairs of shoes; my toms and some really cute flats. I kept wondering how all the girls around me were walking in 6 in heels. I figured no one is as crazy as us to do all the walking we did!
